FROM ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA

Take I-26 East.  Go towards the Asheville Airport, exit 9.  Take Exit 9.  Turn right at the exit towards Brevard.  You are now on hwy 280.  Travel on 280 for about 30 minutes into Brevard.

Continue through downtown Brevard to 64 West on the other side of town. Take US-64 West. 

 Travel 8 Miles on 64 and look for NC-215 North.  Take NC-215 North (you will see a canoe rental place called Headwater Outfitters at the intersection).  As a word of caution - HWY 215 has a lot of curves.

Go 6 Miles On NC-215 (a very winding road), then turn left on Macedonia Church Road.

Take Macedonia Church Road for 1.6 Miles.  Then , turn left at Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute. You will see the PARI sign.  Go through the Main Gate and up the hill for about 3/8 Mile. 

You will reach a guard checkpoint.  Please proceed past the checkpoint towards the flagpole in the center of the complex and park near the flagpole.
