Lick Observatory

When I was still at Allegheny Observatory of the University of Pittsburgh, John Stein, resident astronomer at AO, and I had a project to test the feasibility of daytime astrometry using the Ronchi Ruling method.  We used the twin astrograph at Lick Observatory (shown above) and spent nearly two weeks there.  It was a fun project, but we needed far more time than we had.
